Gary Elford, who is a time served qualified engineer, founded elfords exterior cleaning & restoration in 1994.
Originally focusing on window cleaning elfords have gradually expanded and diversified into many different types of external cleaning and restorative cleaning services. We now regularly service in excess of 600 regular customers as well as many one-off projects from within the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
Most customers tend to be within the Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch conurbations and surrounding areas, however on our bigger contracts we can service all areas of the UK, often working with our trusted partners where required.
Gary with his engineering background has always had a keen eye for innovative quality working practices and systems, as well as wanting to always work as safely and efficiently as possible and certainly within current guidelines.

To this end elfords became one of the first in the area and the UK to invest heavily in the then new ladderless window cleaning systems circa 1998, long before many of our competitors were prepared to take the risk with this unproven cleaning method. Now of course such systems are the norm. In a similar way elfords has continued to expand and move into new markets, always continuing to invest in high end reliable quality equipment to help us ensure the finish of the work we do together with the customer service we provide is always at the forefront of our company’s philosophy.
With this approach in mind elfords have also invested in the latest training, methods & systems of work available to us. In recent years we have purchased the highly respected heritage stone cleaning systems known as Doff & Torc to further enhance our capabilities within this highly specialised cleaning & restoration sector.
